National outbreak situational-awareness dashboard
Built and extended a national dashboard into a single multi-outbreak view used for daily situational awareness and resource decisions.
The existing national dashboard covered a single disease and was hard to manage as outbreaks multiplied. Decision-makers needed one place to see the situation across multiple outbreaks — not a separate tool per disease — to drive daily awareness and resource decisions.
Built a new dashboard to replace the existing one, then extended it beyond a single disease to cover other diseases in outbreak or pandemic mode. Brought together situation reports across recorded outbreaks where available, and folded in vaccination-campaign information run during and after outbreak periods — so awareness, response, and immunisation could be read in one view. Coordinated across multiple public-health divisions to align what the dashboard needed to show with how response teams actually worked.
A single, multi-outbreak view used by the national response team for daily situational awareness and resource-allocation decisions — making it easier to manage concurrent outbreaks and keep awareness high across all of them.
Worked across the immunisation programme, disease surveillance, and public-health divisions of the national health service.
